This is absolutely one of my favorite recipes and if you use the crock pot, it's really easy!
Part 1:
1-2 lbs Round steak cut into strips
1 medium onion chopped
2 Green or Red peppers
1 large can stewed or diced tomato's
2 beef bullion cubes
The real recipe says to brown the meat in butter, once brown add the onions and green peppers and saute. Add the rest of the above ingredients cover and simmer for 2 hours on the stove. I on the other hand, did not brown the meat or saute the veggies and threw it all in the crock pot for about 6 hours and once it was finished it tasted just as good. Add water as needed.
Part 2:
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 TBLS Corn Starch
Once you are ready to serve, mix the soy sauce and corn starch, pour over the steak and peppers and stir. It should start to thicken up.
Serve over rice.
